Family heirloom memory quilt

The memory quilt makes a very special gift when you can't find the perfect gift. I have made these for 40th birthday gifts, new babies, and thoughtful presents when a family member has died. 

Made from 35 squares of memories, you can choose to have quotes, childrens drawings, or photographs. You can send me old clothing. We will work together to weave memories into a beautiful finished quilt to keep in your family forever. 

The back of the quilt will be either a printed pattern, plain fabric or even a quote of your choice with a date to signify the special moment. Please choose from the drop down menu to specify which options you'd like. 

The finished quilt will measure approx 90cm x 131cm.
It will be handmade and I will send it via a tracked courier.

FAQs:
+ Do I have to send you in lots of patches of material? No, there is an option to send me clothes to incorporate into the quilt, or fabric that has a meaning to you. However, this isn't essential. There will be 35 squares altogether which can be made up of either your own donations (I will give you an address where to post the fabrics) or printed squares which I will design for you.
+Do I send you photos and quotes? (How many?) Once you have purchased, I will ask you to send me any quotes, drawings, handwritten notes, or photos you'd like incorporating into the squares. These can be scanned or just photographs, and sent via email. I will work my magic to turn them into beautiful miniature artworks. I will create up to 35 different squares, and keep you updated on the progress with sneak peeks of the finished product. Each quilt is unique and based on the brief, and what you send, I may ask for more information or memories based on one thing or another that I think will enrich the story of the quilt.
+What is the difference between a standard and custom back? You can choose to have either a plain fabric backing (I will choose a colour to compliment the overall design or you can let me know if you are matching to a specific room) or there is an option for me to create a custom design for the back - perhaps a large quote, a date, or a message - in the past we have done song lyrics, the date the quilt was gifted, or an assortment of miniature illustrations across the fabric.
