It's a book club where you get to choose what's what. Join for a little bit. Take your time to read the book. Read it when you want. Join us for a chat, don't join us for a chat. Don't fancy the next book? Fancy buying another one? You can make all the rules. I'll just pick some real nice books and nice little extras to go in the box, and you just sit back and tell everyone you're part of the coolest book club on the block.

For our second Real World meet, we are going to pencil in another cold water swim - this time at Lake Pickmere. We will be meeting at a similar time, on Thursday 17th April to take a dip, chat about the book and sip delicious coffee afterwards. If the universe allows, it will be a beautiful start to the day. Look out for meeting instructions in your inbox in terms of what to bring and where to find us.
This book club will be - I'm hoping - something that can morph into what it wants to be. I'd like for us to explore different ways of interacting with books this year, outside in the world. My main wish is for books to bring us together and to get us thinking and living outside of our bubbles. x
