dot books book club: Jan-Feb box: Orbital

It's a book club where you get to choose what's what. Join for a little bit. Take your time to read the book. Read it when you want. Join us for a chat, don't join us for a chat. Don't fancy the next book? Fancy buying another one? You can make all the rules. I'll just pick some real nice books and nice little extras to go in the box, and you just sit back and tell everyone you're part of the coolest book club on the block. 

It's our first book: Orbital by Samantha Harvey
The box will include a greeting card, a post-it pad, and an energy cleansing sage stick - to get you into a spiritual space. Oh, and the book itself - look at that gorgeous cover! For this first box you will also receive a bookmark and a print - not shown - these will be a surprise once you get your box.  

If you're joining us for the online meetup please ensure your email address is on the order details and I will send you a link to join the chat, 8-9pm on the 6th March. In your box you will receive a few prompts for discussion during the chat - you can use them - or not - there is no pressure!

If you're joining us for the cold water swim we will be meeting at 6am on Thursday 6 March to walk, be in nature, chat about the book and take a little cold plunge! Kicking this spectacular club off with something invigorating to set the stage for a year of experiences that will make us feel alive and become more connected with something MEANINGFUL. (If you aren't a fan of the cold water, don't worry, this is a one off, and you can just come for the sunrise and the vibes and the flask of coffee.)

This book club will be - I'm hoping - something that can morph into what it wants to be. I'd like for us to explore different ways of interacting with books this year, outside in the world. My main wish is for books to bring us together and to get us thinking and living outside of our bubbles. x
